The catcher's glove is designed to effectively catch fastballs thrown by the pitcher at 90 miles per hour (160 kilometers per hour) without causing damage to the hand of the wearer. Consequently, it features numerous extra padding all around the fingertip area, all united into a single pocket. The average circumference of this type of glove is 32-34 inches (approximately 60 cm).
At Dominate, we craft our gloves using exclusively 100% leather. This way, our gloves have a longer lifespan and fit perfectly to the player's hand.
